[☆]?久米島は、沖縄本島の南端から西におよそ100kmの位置に浮かぶ離島です。琉球列島に属し、かつては列島で一番美しい島であることから「球美の島」（くみのしま）と呼ばれていました。久米島の魅力は、何といっても島を囲む海の美しさ。白い砂浜だけの小さな砂洲「ハテの浜」、美しい夕陽を見られる「アーラ浜」などが点在し、マリンブルーの海を存分に楽しめます。久米島へのアクセスは、沖縄本島から飛行機で約30分、直通フェリーでは約3時間。自然いっぱいの久米島でぜひ訪れたいスポットをご紹介します。
[☆]?Kumejima is a remote island located about 100km west of the southern tip of the main island of Okinawa. It belongs to the Ryukyu archipelago and was once called \Kuminoshima\ because it is the most beautiful island in the archipelago. The charm of Kumejima is the beauty of the sea surrounding the island. You can enjoy the marine blue sea to your heart's content, dotted with small white sandbars such as \Hate no Hama\ and \Ara Hama\ where you can see the beautiful sunset. Access to Kumejima is about 30 minutes by plane from the main island of Okinawa, and about 3 hours by direct ferry. Here are some spots that you should definitely visit on Kumejima, which is full of nature.
・イーフビーチ
島の東側に位置し、約2kmにわたって真っ白な砂浜が続くイーフビーチは、久米島のメインビーチともいえる存在です。その美しさから「日本の渚百選」にも選ばれました。例年4月に海開きが行われ、シーズン中は透明度の高い海でさまざまなマリンスポーツを楽しめます。海はかなり遠浅で、干潮時には沖まで歩いていけるほど。海に入って泳ぐ場合は、あらかじめ潮の満ち引きをチェックして満潮時を狙いましょう。
　ビーチ周辺にはショップやホテルが建ち並んでいるため利便性が高いのもポイントです。
・Eef Beach
Eef Beach, located on the east side of the island, is the main beach of Kumejima, with a 2km stretch of pure white sand. Because of its beauty, it was also selected as one of Japan's top 100 beaches. The sea opens in April every year, and you can enjoy various marine sports in the highly transparent sea during the season. The sea is quite shallow, and at low tide you can even walk offshore. If you plan to swim in the ocean, check the tides in advance and aim for high tide.
